Xylem has launched a new, enhanced version of the company’s online pump selection tool, Xylect. The upgraded product database now delivers Xylem’s expertise and experience directly to customers via a desktop and tablet-friendly website as well as a smart phone app, providing customers with quick and easy access to detailed product information and analysis of Xylem’s Flygt, Lowara and Godwin pump and mixer ranges. Following close consultation with water and wastewater consultants, application engineers, and sales technicians, Xylem has upgraded the popular tool, making it significantly more intuitive and user-friendly.
The next generation of Xylect makes product selection easier than ever before as customers can input their specific requirements and readily identify the ideal solution from a range of Xylem’s brands. Xylect allows users to create hydraulic scenarios to identify the optimum solution for diverse pumping conditions.
Enhanced features include:
- Faster, more intuitive navigation and streamlined workflow
- Superior search functionality delivering more accurate results
- Enlarged graph size and new full screen mode
- Improved analysis capabilities
- Enhanced ‘Projects’ section for review of engineering projects
With the Xylect website available in over 15 languages and support for iOS and Android devices, customers can search by application, product type, or by specifying the required flow and head.
